"It's hard to find an authentically caring, professional doctors these days. I am very glad that Dr. David Kim actually cares to listen to my concerns, provides not only the sounding care but also many helpful information, educational advises I can take into account for getting healthier. Very knowledgeable in his field and professional in how he takes care of his patients. Highly recommend Dr. Kim and recommend booking your appointment few months in advance. *Only down side >> Front office staff/answering call needs to improve though, as they rarely answer calls; so hard to get through to book an appointment; if you request a call back on the machine, give yourself a few days for them to get back to you."

"Finding a doctor whom you can fully trust and rely about your health is one delicate task. For my husband Steve and I, I did ask recommendations from friends and others I know. I did go farther than that by going to a website that can tell me more about the person like what school where he graduated, where he did his residency, if there is any lawsuit against him. Having these informations is only a part of the equation but are solid enough to hold unto for a start. With all the names I was recommended and my own researched, I chose Dr. Walter Reid Glaws, DO. I started seeing him on the 3rd quarter of 2008. My husband followed my lead a year later. Dr. Glaws is been our gastroenterologist for over 14 years. We highly and absolutely recommend Dr Glaws to anyone who is in need of his expertise. He has the integrity, intelligence, energy and unwavering dedication to do his job the best he can. He has the excellent physician manners to his patients, full of compassion and understanding and takes his time to explain to his patients things they needed to know. Our honest observations of him for over 14 long years is that his patient's well being is his foremost goal as a physician. Deep in his heart, we noticed he takes his ( Hipocrates Oath seriously when taking care his patients. He had performed multiple endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures to us through the years. He had done several biopsies and and several polyps removals too. I underwent GERD treatment and was a success as well. In 2009, he found in my endoscopy procedure that I have nodules in my stomach wall. I went to see a surgeon (and got 4 more different opinions from other surgeons who aren't related to one another) that led me to have a partial gastrectomy. After my successful stomach surgery, we continued to go visit him for any gastroenterology issues we have. He moved in 2018 from the clinic where we used to go see him that is just 7 minutes away from our residence. He moved quite from us to other branches of his practice group. I went to see another one but I don't see those same qualities he have so we decided to follow him. My husband and I, just have our 2 endoscopy and 2 colonoscopy procedures with him this Dec. of 2022. Again, as always his service was unparallel. We can boldly say, we owe him so much of our good health in his expertise and that we're so appreciative for all he had done for us and for many more years to come. His office employees are awesome and so helpful and kind. The Northshore Endoscopy Center in Waukegan where we have our back to back procedures is a great place to go. The employees- from front desk, nurses, anesthesiologist, and everyone in the there were amazing and compassionate. May God bless Dr Glaws, his family and the people who work with him always. "Doctor Patel changed my life.. i was suffering from chronic indigestion and reflux and I didn’t know where to turn so at one point after doing a bit of research I found Dr. Patel initially we did some homeopathic stuff where I changed my diet my routines what I did after eating and eventually we realize that the problem is much deeper rooted in a physical obstruction/complication. "I’ve had GI issues since I was a child. When I caught Covid in 2020, 4 weeks after I recovered, I developed some worsening GI problems. No one could figure out what was wrong with me. I was one of those long haulers. I was referred to Dr. Patel, and he did extensive testing to get to the root of my problem. He set me up with a functional medicine specialist, and I recovered significantly after treatment. I’m forever grateful for Dr. Patel, and his team. I highly recommend him to all of my family, and friends. Now that covid has been around for a while more, and more people are having the same issues I had after recovering. Thus began a wonderful experience dealing with 3 ladies in his office, Michelle, Tammy& Yolanda. "I went to see the Nurse Practitioner Lauren Smith. MY GI Doctor is Dr. Lue who is absolutely wonderful but I have to say I felt my visit with the Nurse Practitioner was very good. She was very understanding and thorough and quickly began organizing test and answering medication questions I had, Explained things very well and took the time with me that made me feel important and cared about. I ended up having an EGD done by Dr. Lue who is also a very nice person and compassionate Doctor. I don't think I could fine better healthcare .My whole experience with this office was great, even the front desk people and schedulers."

"The office is easy to get to and park. The staff is professional and helpful in answering any questions. The doctor was good about explaining the results of the procedure. The results were provided in printed form as well as being sent to my doctor. I like dealing with professionals who value my time. "The only reason(s) I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s very difficult or time-consuming to make phone contact or get a return call to schedule (or reschedule), and appointments always run late. Otherwise, Dr. Raddawi is wonderful! I’m so glad I asked my PCP for a 2nd opinion - the experience with network GI was awful! Dr. Raddawi has an excellent bedside manner & quickly diagnosed (including his guess proved on point, post colonoscopy results) soon after my initial appointment. I’d been suffering with no definite diagnosis for 2+ years prior to seeing him! All of the staff are courteous & professional. I’m very patient with the time delays because of the high quality of care and patient attention. However, hopeful that area of concern improves."
"Dr. Glaws is incredible. I was struggling for years trying to pinpoint an issue that had been affecting my health. My general physician suggested having Dr. Glaws perform an upper endoscopy in hopes of finding my problem. I met with Dr. Glaws prior to the endoscopy. He was compassionate and spent a great deal of time explaining the procedure with me and also answering all of my questions. His follow through, post op was even better. He helped find the root of my problem and was swift with my treatment. I would highly recommend him."

"I am a first time patient of Dr Losurdo and the Illinois Gatro Group. Purpose of visit - colonoscopy. Office staff is very professional, helpful and followed extreme care related to COVID. My initial appointment with Dr Losurdo was very thorough. Setting up appointment for the procedure was done immediately after appointment and I left office knowing exactly what to expect and do to prepare from the prescription, COVID test, diet restrictions, all the way to day-of requirements. I ended up having to reschedule via phone and that was completed within 24 hrs of initial call to office. Office provides perfect level of reminders too. Day of procedure was orchestrated to perfection. I felt very cared for and my nurse Marti was a whiz at administering the IV (not a fan of needles). But the entire staff that day was amazing. I left with results in hand, followed up with the next day and primary doctor had results in hand within a day or two of procedure. A very well run office. I will be recommending Dr Losurdo and the team to all my friends who are delinquent in getting this very important procedure done and anyone else needing gastro care. Thank you all for taking such great care of me, see ya in 5 yrs."

"having had G.I. problems my entire life, I have had occasion to work with many Gastroenterologists. I have seen both good and bad. Dr. Patricia Sun is one of the best. Her caring attitude, and true empathy for her patients "shine" through. Having these qualities added to a knowledgeable well educated professional who is very adept at her chosen field makes for a genuine "Home Run" I am glad that her relative youth (relative to me!) ensures that she will be able to continue to care for me for a long time. This has been my problem in the past. I have outlasted my previous Doctors which has been disheartening since the continuity of care lapsed. Dr. Sun is not only well versed in Gastroenterology, but she is able to incorporate her Internal Medicine background to care for the ENTIRE patient, not just a small part. I have no reservations recommending Dr. Sun for not only her professional skills but her charming and truly caring personality. Don't forget that one of the most important parts of a Dr's office is the support staff. This office is second to none. This is not hyperbole. From the front desk with Erin and Donna to Margarita, the office manager, to Natasha and Tatyana in the Nursing area. They "ROCK". I could go on forever, but i don't want to swell any more heads. Don't go anywhere else. This practice is it!!"

"This was my first colonoscopy experience, but at 57 I knew I needed it done. I had some trepidation going into the whole process, but mostly uncertainty. But after leaving Dr Adler's office I was pretty amazed at how easy it all was. From the time I walked in to a warm and genuine greeting from one of the nurses (I think her name was Jackie) to the time I walked out a couple of hours later, it was stress-free, painless, and comfortable. Including the front desk person and Dr Adler I believe there were five people I interacted with during the procedure. Each of them was very helpful, making me comfortable and putting my mind at ease. When I was brought into the room for the procedure, the nurse anesthetist (Nikki or Nicole) explain what she would be doing, and after administering the anesthesia I think I was out within 30 seconds and "came to" after a very deep and satisfying sleep. There were no complications during the procedure, images were shown of a few polyps that were found, and I was told that I would get news of the test results soon afterward. While some people have reported being a bit loopy afterward, I felt no odd side effects and had a pretty normal day from there on. They asked if I wanted a follow-up "well-being check" which I declined, since everything had gone so well. The office did follow up with a phone call with tested results in a reasonable time. In summary, my experience with Dr. Adler and his staff was really "first rate.""
"I suffer from Barrett’s esophagus, IBS, and have a history of 18 colonoscopies with benign polyps and the last one a pre cancerous polyp was found. All I’ve ever had by my old GI Dr were Tests ! When I went to see Dr Cahill she said, “ has anyone talked to you about how to treat these disorders ?” I thought to myself , besides ordering prescriptions and laxatives and telling me to watch my diet I never ever had a Dr talk to me about how I might fix these problems! She sat across from me looked into my eyes and spent at least 25 minutes going over my digestive issues, what brought them on, what made them worse, etc., then examined my abdomen and ordered me some new medications and set up an appointment for a study to test the nerves and muscles in my bowel which no one ever thought of checking before. The front desk staff was so compassionate set up another appointment in a month and an appoint for my test. The Rx were at my pharmacy on my way home and ready for me.. What a great experience! Dr Cahill is very compassionate, brilliant, professional, and thorough. She is the Dr I’ve been looking for for years! I’m so glad I finally found an old fashion Dr that is young! "I had been suffering terribly from stomach pain nausea diarrhea. Dr Chadha performed an upper and lower GI finding nothing significant. He worked with me to control my diarrhea. He contacted both of my Doctors. Endocrinologists and primary physician. I am off of my metformin which was causing the diarrhea. I am using insulin to control my diabetes. He was my super hero.
