"The nurses were all friendly and accommodating. The anesthesiologist went through the process with me and was also a nice man. Dr Christopoulos was very professional and gave me the the results in terms I could understand. I have to give a shout out to Debbie, one of the receptionists. I was very upset when I got there, because we got lost on the way there and I had to go the bathroom really really badly. She walked me around the facility to calm me down so my BP was not over the top. It must have worked because my BP was 135/60 before the procedure. Though having a colonoscopy (especially the prep) is not a walk in the park, the staff there was exceptionally efficient as well as compassionate."

"I just want to say Thank you to everyone who took care of me. I am terrified of needles and always have really bad anxiety when I have to do anything with needles and especially with putting anesthetic in. The nurse did so good, from the first time and the IV was in (in a vain that has never worked before). Also they made sure I knew I was in good hands and I really was. The colonoscopies upper and lower was really quick, I was done in less than an hr. Thank you guys again, it really means a lot to me for what all of you did!"

"Dr. Sunil is a knowledgeable doctor who explained my issues well that I can understand. He performed my procedure without any problem & able to resolve my coughing issues due to my reflux. Algonquin surgical center where the procedure was performed is also a good place for outpatient procedures. The staff are professionals to their patients."

"Was recommended to Dr. Joseph my Rheumatologist as I needed to have my first colonoscopy since I was in my late 40s. He said Dr. Joseph was very caring and a good doctor to get the procedure done with. Dr. Joseph addressed all my concerns, explained the procedure, and was given all the prep and instructions for the procedure ahead of time. The night before the procedure, the prep solution was not as bad as I thought it would be. On the day of the procedure, everything went well as it could. The anesthesia was good and I never knew what happened or felt any part of the colonoscopy procedure. Felt like I dozed off for a few minutes, was awake 45 minutes later and went home. No complications whatsoever. Would highly recommend Dr. Joseph to others for your colonoscopy."

"My latest experience was flawless. Many people will wait until the end of the year to use flexible spending accounts. Do not wait! Service is way better in the spring and fall. Never put off health care because of money! Colon cancer is treatable and survivable."

"I went for my procedure like several people do...at the end of the year when your insurance deductible is most likely paid. This is undoubtedly the most busy time for this office as well. I too work in a medical office. The staff was friendly ,inviting,and professional. "I have gone to Dr. Gambla for 15+ years. He is the nicest guy and a great doctor. My colonoscopy last week went very smoothly with clear, concise results. The admission nurse, Nathan, was good and fun; and the anesthesiologist, Tracey, was efficient and helped keep your mind occupied. David Kim is the best gastroenterologist in Cook County because he cured me from hepatitis C when all the other gastroenterologists didn't think I could even handle the medicine. "Dr. Greenberg is the best!! A couple of years ago he discovered what my health issue was during a colonoscopy, put me on medication and I've been fine ever since. I call him "my hero". He cares about you and is very easy to talk to."
"I had an EGD done here a few days ago. The nurses are extremely caring and understanding. I was very anxious going in to the procedure and the nurses and anesthesiologist helped calm me down and explained everything that would happen in depth. They also listened to my concerns very attentively. Amazing bedside manner by all. Dr. Christopolous, my gastroenterologist, performed the EGD, and I woke up comfortable and with no pain. Had a little sore throat for about a day and a half, and that was it. The facility was clean and well maintained as well. All in all, I had a great experience for something I was extremely nervous about."
"NW Gastro diagnosed my husband's Crohn's disease and has been effectively treating him for it for several years. All the late night runs to the ER have stopped because he receives monthly treatment that has eliminated the blockages he'd been experiencing and they've given him a dietary plan that keeps him in check. I've had two colonoscopies performed by them and the staff from desk to surgical procedure has been friendly and efficient."
