Dr. Kalra enjoys all areas of Gastroenterology. He graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Kalra is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Kalra is trained in the broad discipline of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has particular interests in esophageal diseases, hepato-biliary diseases, and colon cancer prevention. Dr. Kalra received specialized training for ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and evaluation of esophageal disorders during his training at Temple University.

Nurses & Receptionists are friendly and efficient. Dr. Kalra is informative & knowledgeable. Dr. Kalra listens and involves/includes the patient in decisions and options. Dr. Kalra & staff follow-up with info for the patient after tests and procedures by contacting the patient himself/themselves. Dr. Kalra is personable and exemplifies medical professionalism. With multiple office locations Dr. Kalra affords patients a seamless process making an appointment as well as an option to request an appointment electronically.
