"Dr. Seraphin is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend him. Last year when I was admitted into the hospital. They gave him to me for a GI doctor. I was diagnosed with liver disease. This doctor I feel went above and beyond for me. Doing the proper tests. Still being unsure which liver disease I had. So he referred me to someone who could properly diagnose me. He worked with me and my countless questions. I recently had a colonoscopy done with this Dr.. It went very smooth afterwards he told me what he saw and explained everything. He is very personable and dedicated to his line of work."

"Dr. Gluskin is very thorough, knowledgeable and empathetic. He gives you his complete, undivided attention and doesn’t rush through your appointment. He explains everything in terms that you understand and is one of the kindest providers I have ever encountered. I have many chronic, and some rare conditions and fully trust in Dr. Gluskin. The office staff display the same attributes as Dr. Gluskin, which shows me that he leads by example and the standards set by this GI group are very high and all patient centric. I wish they had all the specialties I need for my health conditions , because they would be my choice for all. I had worked in healthcare over 30 years and have experienced all levels of care and experiences, but none have ever been as positive, reassuring and pleasant as any and all interactions with this group."

"Doctor Clark is great! I think the office is a little too busy though. It’s hard to speak with him personally a lot of times and you end up speaking with a nurse and the nurse practitioner makes a lot of the decisions on your health which is not bad but you’re paying for the doctors advice on your health issues. I do highly recommend Dr Clark he has been amazing with ECD banding procedures he has performed on me and the staff is excellent in the surgical area as well as the main office."

"This was my first time visiting the GI Alliance of Illinois: Evanston, and it was a good experience overall. Dr. Ana Patel was beyond amazing! She listened to my concern, made me feel comfortable with my check-up, provided a fast resolution to my problem. The only downside is that their offices don't have a system to remind their patients about appointments. Unfortunately, I missed my first appointment due to me going to the Chicago location instead of the Evanston location."

"Dr. Liebovich is an amazing gastro doc!!! I have multiple complex issues and have been to multiple gastro docs. Dr. Liebovich is superior to any other gastroenterologist. He has outstanding diagnostic skills and is great at both listening and explaining. It is a long wait for an initial appointment because his med services are in high demand, but it is worth the wait."

She listened to everything I had to say and asked a lot of questions, started ordering tests immediately and followed up first thing the next day when the first results were in. She actually gave me different instructions than any other GI that I’ve seen (there have been several). The office was clean, they were organized and very efficient, but I was not rushed during my appointment in any way. I would definitely recommend to anyone!"

"I certainly could write multitudes of accolades regarding our treasured, Dr.Stinneford. However, I'd much rather share a beautifully touching short story that goes back to 1998. My mother, Helen was hospitalized at Sherman Hospital, her Primary Doctor asked Dr. Stinneford to evaluate her. Upon meeting him the very first time, my mother said the following heartfelt words, "Janet, I just love Dr. Stinneford, he reminds me of your brother, Jim ( her favorite child). With a tear in her eye she continued, could you ask him if I may call him Dr.Jim." I did ask him per my mother's last precious request. His answer, "I would be "honored" if your mother, Helen would call me Dr. Jim." This short story speaks volumes, humility at it's finest from one of the most beloved Dr's. of all time!"

His staff is equally professional as well. He makes the process so simple and straightforward that it doesn't even feel as though you're going through any type of procedure at all. To be honest, it's easier than going to a dentist's office. He makes the colonoscopy and endoscopy a very simple process. Lastly, the anesthesiologist was phenomenal. I highly recommend Dr. Chi and his wonderful caring staff!"

Dr Cahill was gracious with her time and explained the results as well as treatment options with me. EDIT: Although Dr. Cahill is wonderful, I need to edit down my review. It’s been 12 days since my procedure and I still have not received results from my biopsy. Dr. Cahill has been so good to me during my treatment with continuing digestive issues. She does not “push” any certain treatment or test but rather takes the time to review all options. Dr. Cahill is also very conscientious of insurance coverage so that there are no major unexpected out of pocket charges. Aside from all of this, Dr. Cahill has made me feel very comfortable in spite of how awkward it can be to discuss digestive issues and undergo a colonoscopy. "Fantastic doctor! I recently switched to Dr. Liebovich because my long-standing gastroenterologist wasn't trying to figure out the problem. I have a significant gastrointestinal history, including colon resection. He methodically began a series of tests and medications to start to eliminate possible diagnoses. He did a colonoscopy and endoscopy that found a benign stomach polyp, and resulted in diagnoses of esophagitis, gastritis, and microscopic colitis. He is the holy grail of doctors. He listens to his patients' symptoms, realizing they are clues to reaching the diagnosis. He is very smart, but also communicates in a kind, direct way that is understandable. His staff is fantastic. I am so grateful that we are getting to the bottom of my concerns after three years. So many doctors seem burnt out and have lost their passion. Dr. Liebovich clearly loves his job and his patients. I am so grateful."
